Year 5 Tatton Park Trip

On Tuesday 12th November, 5KJ boarded a bus to go to Tatton Park as a school trip. Happily, we went on the bus at 8:35 and left the school. Sitting on the bus, I was realy excited to go to Tatton Park but the traffic came in our way.  Attached to our clothes, we had to buckle our seatbelt.  On the way, we played lots of games and talked. Eventually, we arrived at Tatton Park.

Firstly, we wore the Victorian apron and got told that boys had to put their hand forward and girls hand backword. Meanwhile, we walked through the gleam shiny corridor, which had large framed picture, after that we went to the Victorian kitchen and started making scones because Prince of Wales was visiting for Queen Victoria’s diamond (60 years) jubilee. Getting ready to make scones, the house keeper told us how to make it step by step. After we made the scones, our group went to make the bedroom in the bedroom we saw a sash window, which had a good view.

As we went to our next activity we walked on the shiny gleaming steps with red carpet next to the white walls. After all we reached the bedroom, we started making fire with newspaper after we made the fire we then made the fancy edge sheet. The bed sheet was as white as snow, which had lace on the edge.

Happily, we had our lunch and got to go to the toilet (which were a bit smelly) and I loved the lunch because I was really hungry.

After we had our lunch, we went to the last activity of the day, which was sweeping the floor in the basement. As we walked through the dark musty basement we then started sweeping the floor.

When we finished our activity soon it was time to go after we settled on the bus went home I really enjoyed the trip.
