On Tuesday 13th November, 5AD had to come to school early because we had a trip to Tatton Park. Eventually, Miss Duckworth, who was dressed as a Victorian lady, told us to get on the coach. Seated on the luxurious, fancy coach my friends and I started to talk. Finally, after a long journey, we arrived at Tatton Park.
In the mansion, we put our Victorian aprons and we got told that boys had their hands behind their back and girls had their hands in front of them. In the servant's quarters (also called the basement) we got told to sweep the floor and we immediately did as we were told. After we were done with the sweeping, we got to explore the elegant, elaborate mansion.
Meanwhile it was lunchtime. Eating our lunch, we got told that we are going to bake scones. A few minutes later, we started to bake the scones. After it felt like a short journey through the house, the housekeeper, who told us that we will be going to the butler's picked someone to wash the dishes using the water calorifier. Later, we made the beds with the fancy, posh edge sheet.
At hometime, they gave us the scones that we made. Meanwhile, 5AD went home and ate the scones year 6's missed out on this because they didn’t explore the mansion on their trip.
