Home Learning

The structure of each day will stay the same so it brings familiarity to the children.

Listen to the tricky word song.  Can you sing along with it and send us a video - dojos up for grabs if you can and double if your parents join in!!
Please keep listening to the phase 4 tricky words song!
In Phase 4 now new graphemes (letters) are introduced.  The children will learn among other things:
  • Practising reading and spelling CVCC (consonant, vowel, consonant, consonant) words like; bump, nest, belt, milk.
  • Practise reading and spelling high frequency words
  • Practise reading and writing sentences
  • Learn more of the tricky words, including have, some, and little
Here are some sentences to practise reading and writing.

Challenge Time Again!!
We have been really impressed with the stories we have seen so far.  We would like to see more chidlren having a go - you CAN do it.  You will see we have changed it to 20 dojos!!!
It only has to be short.  Do you remember how long the Helicopter Stories used to be? Just a few lines will be great.
Go on have a go!  20 dojos for every story!!

You can use the sound mat to help you if you forget what the sounds look like!
Picture
Don't forget you can keep fit and active even whilst social distancing - look at this video from Spiderman!  Everyone can spare 5 mins!

Do your best to sign along with this song! Extra dojos (50) if you send me a video yourself singing!

Number
First count up to 10 and 20 singing and dancing along with the videos.
